Cooking A Soviet Meal In A 1991 Russian (USSR) Mess Kit

We found a Soviet USSR mess kit at the best flea market in the world in Tbilisi, Georgia, and since we are living in a Soviet apartment we decided to cook up a Soviet-style meal that would be good for camping using some buckwheat, smoked ham, mushrooms, a carrot and an egg. It is perfect for camping and cleanup was easy with water and a paper towel as nothing stuck to the mess kit.

Because of you. I ended up buying two of those stainless steel pathfinder mess kits. I have a German one and Russian one and I think it's a French one too. My collection is growing.

@ebikecnx7239 I do like my russian one, but I never knew about the dates stamped on it. I'm gonna dig them out tomorrow and look and see when it was made. I think the German one is my favorite. I'll make a video about them here pretty soon. To show my whole collection. I tried to make a comedy video last night. It's title is WHAT ARE YOU TOTIN. I'm not sure if it was very funny, but I tried. I do like the color of the Russian one the best though.
