In Guwahati, Brahmaputra is so narrow. In upper Assam it's like Ocean. You can't see the other bank.

@DipjyotiMajumdar95 nope. It wasn't wide at that time period. My grandfather was born in 1920. He told me that Brahmaputra wasn't that wide. It was deep and narrow. After the 1950 big earthquake it became shallow and wider. Even from childhood to the present day it took away almost 300-400 meters of land. We are called the riverine tribe(Mising Tribe) of Assam.

Truth is, Khorika has degraded their Food Quality. Me and my Friend's got shocked when we served rice and found broom straw. Moreover when we've ordered Duck Curry, we found broiler on it. Hardly someone could find the difference. Such an aweful experience in Kharika খৰিকা Ganeshguri, Guwahati. 👎👎👎
