Yes, restaurant food is not always great and it does cost a lot. Also, service can be hit or miss so it makes going out a gamble. Eating home cooked is 100 times better. What a great job you're doing for your fam!

Years ago when I was 10 I got to work in the school kitchen ( we didnt have a Cafeteria kids had to take the lunches back to the classroom to eat) Sometimes when I would dish out food kids would complain to me about the food I told them Hey I just serve talk to the cook not me If only we had someone like Megan back then maybe I wouldnt have gotten whined at by kids The job was thru a program where Special Ed kids got to have a Job in the Kitchen to show us what a Job was we had no idea back then when adults would say they need to go to work the school gave kids free food as payment for working The best part would be the Cookies The Cook was named Mrs, Loveless I remember the following year she transferred over to the Middle School and cooked there I used to sneak into the Kitchen with her where she made fresh cookies she would always say Want a cookie? I made them fresh she used to give me cookies to when I was having a bad day or when she found out I got bullied by another kid she was more loving than Loveless u cant put a price on memories like that

I love my air fryer and use it at least 4 times a week. I know some folks really prefer the models that have the door that opens out and down and you can slide the trays out, but I find the the basket types are easier and in my mind, safer for younger cooks. If you can get basket inserts, parchment or silicone, really helps with clean up.

It helps with having more room. We own a kettle corn and lemonade vendor stand so I need a functioning kitchen on the road. After working all day, no one wants to go out and eat nasty greasy food. Air fryer. Do what I did , I brought two. I brought one small thinking I would not use it much. Loved it. Then thought, not buying one much bigger one and wasting what I had, so brought a second one to match, they are rectangular so sit well on the bench, still needed more to cook different food at the same time so now bought a third one, much bigger, will take a whole chicken. I or rather we use them all the time and all three at once. Fabulous.

I have a huge air fryer and it’s awesome! I’ve had it 4 years and I bought my mother in law one as well. It fits a 16" pizza, up to a 15-lb ham, two family-sized chickens, or a 12" x 15" casserole dish. It’s the Oster 11 in 1 French door air fryer. (Make sure you look up the 11 in 1 air fryer- they make 2 that look identical but the other one isn’t the right one.) I highly recommend it! It even is a dehydrator as well. We’ve made deer jerky in ours.

That looks awesome! 😎 Another idea you can use with the chicken also, is white wine. Preferably a white zinfandel. Because once the alcohol burns, the white zin will simmer in the pot and create a crispy barbeque-like flavor that you can the stir the chicken over. 😎 That's what I like to do with it. Just wanted to shart that idea with you guys. Have a nice day!

Hi Megan. My husband and I fully time RV and we have found an e-Cooler very valuable for storing extra refrigeration/freezer food. There are all different sizes, you can set to various temperatures, and there are batteries that when unplugged can get last 7-9 hours while traveling so your food stays cold. We’ve been through several RV’s including an Airstream and have stored it under a bay, inside the airstream doorway, and outside when in one spot for a while. Something to think about that could be very helpful. Happy Travels. Good to see ya’ll back on the road. Enjoy!

Hello ! You mentioned on this video about any AirFryer recommendations......my regular kitchen oven has not worked for several years so I depend on my air fryer for most of my meals. I recently purchased the Ninja Smart Cook with two large cooking bins. You can use two different temps and features at the same time, i.e. - air fry, bake etc. The cooking feature has AirFry, Bake, Roast, Reheat, Air Broil & Dehydrate. For example, I can Airfry chicken wings at one temp and roast a vegetable on another temperature at the same time.....great great appliance !!!!

For extra fridge space, buy a couple of higher end large rolling coolers (ones that are very good for keeping ice an extended period of time). Add a bicycle type chain/lock to them and keep them attached to RV so they don't walk off!!! At least around here, you can get the Twice the Ice machines and get a 16lb bag of ice for like $2.50 each. That helps with extras like drinks and milk. Not sure where their truck is but we always travel with the truck for the 5th wheel and an extra vehicle for stuff like coolers and grill.

We have the double drawer Ninja air fryer. With the oven type air fryer, we ran into a lot of the same problems you have with your RV oven - if you only put in one tiny tray of something, it was fine. But the minute you wanted to use two trays, nothing could rise up off the tray very high. The double drawer allows 2 foods at 2 different temps. Just a heads up about using them *inside* the RV…they do give off a significant amount of heat that requires quite a bit of special clearance around it. Be careful it wouldn’t be too close to something in the RV that it could melt. It also is a bummer that it heats up our fairly small kitchen quite a bit in the summer. Would love to see what Instant Pot meals you make/enjoy.

Also hot tip when you are releasing the pressure on your instantpot, you can simply through a kitchen towel or tea towel over the steam vent to prevent it from spraying all over. Don’t fold the towel just like a single layer over the steam vent will allow all the steam to come out without the mess. 😊
