You're such a wonderful dog owner! When my basset was 13 I realized I was feeding her one the LEAST nutritious dog foods out there--I hadn't a clue---one of the first ingredients was high fructose corn syrup! No wonder she loved it....I figured it was worse to switch at that point, but at age 14, I did start making her dog food (mostly boiled hamburger and rice). And, thank you for not making your dog vegan. Completely, completely agree and chuckled because I'm a vegetarian (can't give up the cheese just yet....), and cooking meat for family/dogs is the grossest thing...although seeing the embryos in the eggs is a close second!! :) As always, great seeing you and keep up the videos---you were missed!

One of the things I love about your videos, is your constant great thumbnails to label the channels. For example, this is one of them. I guess one can say they are "douchey" even though I do not have a clear picture of what that exactly means. I come to your channels when I am sort of not having a good day because you're calm and self-disclosing and you can (at times) show that beautiful women can have mentally disturbed times also, it is not just the plain people. I am glad when you roll out another vid.....they are less often these days, but it is important to live your life as you want to.

Yes!!! I think you have a pretty good grasp of the douche ;-) I am so glad to hear that you find my videos enjoyable when you are sort of not having a good day. That is really the best compliment I could receive. I definitely have mentally disturbed times LOL! I worry no one wants to hear about it though that’s why I get quiet here sometimes. As always thank you for watching and for your support. Hope you are having a sort of AMAZING DAY!!!!

Take large pot boil water add 3lbs ground turkey meat. Add tablespoon of turmeric splash of apple cider vinegar and 2minced garlic cloves. Add broccoli/cauliflower florets but don’t let them get mushy, drain most of the water. Then add cooked rice and mix. Bon appetit Bassett hounds♥️

Hello! ❤️Can you make a video where you groom Copper and bathe him? Also what do you do with the smell? I’m in college and I’m considering getting a basset hound myself but I’m a little bit worried about the smell and bc it would be my first dog I’m nervous about it’s bathing routine 😭

what do you mean by smell? Are you talking about jut dog smell in general, are you concerned that Basset's have their own odor?
@mariaaa8033 жыл бұрын
@@luv2eatpuss79 basset hounds are naturally “smelly” dogs.Not only when they haven’t been bathed.Basset have lot of shaggy skin and for what I’ve read they are prone to smell.
@luv2eatpuss793 жыл бұрын
@@mariaaa803 hmmmm. My Basset has a light musk odor but I wouldn't call her smelly. When you bath them, you really have to get under there ''pits'' because they can be prone to fungal growths. Just make sure you dry them off good under their arm pits after you wash them. I normally uses a blow dryer without any issue. Just don't get it close to the skin as that can burn your dog.Also, make sure to keep their ear clean. The reason they have such long ears is because it acts like a broom to flush scents into their nasal cavity. So their ears can get very dirty and that can also make them smell bad. Do those 2 things and you shouldn't have a big issue with them smelling bad

It’s awesome you want to cook for your pups! I’ve been using BalanceIT for several years now and kinda have become a pro at figuring out their recipe creator. First thing, your recipe is way too complex and doesn’t need to be. It makes it really overwhelming to say the least. Second, you can edit the recipe once it spits them out, so you don’t use a ton of eggs and only a small amount of the other meat. The autobalancer is weird like that and will always spit out a ton of eggs, liver, or fish compared to other meat in a recipe, so I just edit the amounts and rerun the balancer. Next you only need 1 maybe two starchy carbs, and I only use one fruit like berries or apple and usually only like 1/2 a cup in a 10 day batch. Also all weights in the recipe are cooked weights so you need to weigh everything after it’s cooked. I just bought ingredients for my dogs beef recipe and it includes beef stew meat, beef heart and liver, canned mackerel, barley, collard greens, broccoli, butternut squash, green beans, and blueberries. I also add in a small amount of tumeric for anti inflammatory properties and ginger for digestion. The total recipe ends up being 46 percent protein, 33 percent fat and 19 percent carbs.
