Cooking gilbaka curry with Elaine Family Kitchen

In this video, Elaine from Elaine Family Kitchen is cooking some delicious gilbaka curry, as well as chicken chowmein and cut mango achar. She is an excellent cook and we really enjoyed the food she made in this video. You will also hear our macaw, Tiki, saying 'Allahu Akbar. The chicken chowmein was actually for the Venezuelan Warraus at Zeeburg, West Coast Demerara. In a previous video, we showed that about 72 of them were living in the same house. You can look out for another video when l show you the distribution of the food and how much they enjoyed it.

I fry my fish before I put it in the curry. Lightly fried.

I find by frying the fish before, it's less chance of the unfried fish to become soft and breaks up while cooking it.

I totally understand that. However, growing up, my mom did most of the cooking until it was time for us to learn. I learned to cook most of the foods I eat by myself. I'm self taught and I have to say that I'm damm good at it. 😊
