You stick with the traditional way of cooking Indian food. Too many "modern" ways of preparing foods make them dead by destroying most of the nutrients, so "ghotaying"the dahl is better than using a pressure cooker. I love the old methods of cooking, just like my Grandma and mother did it. We have to preserve the old ways to honor our ancestors, as well as preserve the nutrients in the foods. I can tell that you are having a great Christmas, but merry Christmas anyway!! Keep on cooking!!

Your duck curry, dhal and phalpouri looks very delicious. I also saw you on another video where you made curry crab. You spoiled the curry by putting in egg plant and eggs. If you are cooking egg curry then cook egg curry, if you are cooking egg plant curry then do so, but you messed up that whole recipe by throwing in so many different things. I have never seen by grandmother or mother cooked crab curry like that. I also watched you cooked stew fish with provision chunkay . I learned something about your duff, you called it dumplings, but frying it was good idea. I like mine with potatoes, cassava, yellow plantains, duff and yams. I don’t like dasheen or eddoes also your stew was a bit too watery and stew always needs thyme. The fish looks good. I never liked fish when I was younger , but lately I have been eating, orange roughly, Chilean bass, sole, yellow tile groupa, and basa fillet. I live in Canada and one can get a lot of the Guyanese fishes fresh from the Asian supermarkets. All the best to you and your family and keep up the good work. Remember if you are doing videos with cooking stick to that. A lot of Guyanese are all over the place with vlogging some of them has become so boring that people watched them a few times then stopped. May God richly bless you.
