That's great dude, always wanted to try high voltage cooking! Closest I've come is zapping a protein bar with my Tesla coil...let's just say ozone and nitrogen oxides don't taste that good. A cool idea I had is to use a induction heater to levitate a hot dog skewered onto a metallic support. The metal will get hot as it floats in the alternating magnetic field, cooking the hot dog!

Doesn't the high resistance of the hot dog make it not cook from the induction heater? I've heard that you can stick your finger in the induction heating coil and not get burned because of the high resistance of your flesh, wouldn't it be the same for the hotdog?

@@NerdlabsSci Yep, but the metal supporting the hotdog would get very hot, and that would be what cooks it!
