As a Somali I definitely agree we don’t measure anything, measurements where 🤷🏽‍♀️. Growing up in the west I would as my mom how much do I put in when I started cooking at a young age, she would say “how much you feel, taste your food and put it in” lol. As a adult I tell my friends that aren’t Somali or African don’t bother asking me for measurements 😂
