@@FlockofFive you're so welcome 💖 i was actually considering trying some ceramic pans, a while back ...but after heavy research, i found there were also concerns of some not so obvious components in those items. So, i decided to keep sticking to my simple stainless steel 💖 just one more thing that gives me peace of mind ☯️💖🦜 i enjoy your vids (plus, I'm partial to greys🤗). I hope you have plans to publish more regularly 💖💖 lots of love to you and your flock, from ours💞

Parrot Town yes I completely agree with the ceramic pans! I once considered them myself but decided not to use them at least until more data comes out on them. Sending love to your flock as well, hoping to post again in the near future!

Thank you so much for this video, I did not know all of this information when I got my African Grey. The Asian store didn't mentioned none of these and it's very sad. Now I know when I get my other African Grey, I will be very well prepared

Hi what a very nice video.your African grey parrot is so cute, and also your conure is also so cute.if you have stainless steel cook ware can you still have your birds in the same room when you cook.I allways use stainless steel cook ware.thanks so much for the nice video have a wonderful evening.

Hi Angel, thank you for your lovely comments! Even if you cook steel cookware the birds can get hurt from any burning animal fat or fumes produced from the stove itself, so I wouldn't recommend having them in the same room when you are cooking :)

What about natural gas stoves? Are they safe to use around birds?
@FlockofFive5 жыл бұрын
That is a very important question Sarah. Natural gas stoves have less predictable temperature settings and a high risk of a gas leak which is fatal to birds even in minute quantities. I would say it is certainly not safe to use them when the birds are close by, even with good ventilation. If you do not have the option to convert to an electric stove, I would suggest having them in a sealed room with its own circulation (not mixing with the rest of the house) and only having the stove on for very little bits of time per use and of course, having it checked on a regular basis for leaks.
