That looks wonderful. Can't wait to try it. Love your video's. I check everyday for new ones. You could really teach the younger generation so much. I even have friends my age that can't make toast. You are a joy.

We had the space to grow a few small pumpkins this year and was hoping to locate a recipe using the whole pumpkin. Thank you for your delicious recipe and for showing how it is made! You dear lady, are a God Send! Mrs. TC

No, the skin just falls right off when you go to eat it. Acorn squash works great too.

We have chives in the herb garden and they are the size of a thin pencil lead and you cut them to use. Whereas scallions and green vegetable onions are more similar. Make baked pumpkin much like you do and add homemade diced polish style sausage. Also love using the small pumplins, baked, for serving pumpkin soup.

You know what would work is just a regular stuffing recipe too. I have stuck a sausage sage stuffing in it and didn't use the cream. Give it a try and let me know.

GREAT recipe! I tried this and used breakfast sausage and sage. YUM! Deb, just wanted to take a minute and thank you. I started prepping 2 years ago, and the first thing I did was stock up on dehydrated food. I figured that my family would have to do without the *extras* when the SHTF. Thanks to you, I got over my fear of canning foods. You made it look so easy and carefree. I'm canning all the *special* stuff my family enjoys now, along with the basics. I even tried canning half and half. I can live without sugar in my coffee, but gotta have my half and half. Came out ok, has a bit of a caramel taste to it, but I like it! Thanks again for showing me that canning isn't some magical, mysterious thing to be terrified of!

My husband doesn't like the texture of creamy things, or even cream-based soups. Do you think this would work with something like chicken broth instead of the cream?
