It's a shame you aren't around anymore Deb, people could use some comforting words in this stupid, erratic, pure evil run amok time.

Thank you for an easy and noncomplicated video. I have canned meat before but tonight is my first attempt with some hot Italian sausage that was marked down at the local market. You know the best thing to remember is to keep it simple. God bless you.

What a great sounding recipe! How big is the mixing bowl? I don't think my mixer would hold all the ingredients in one go.

12/07/2023 Before there is an emergency situation can your favorite beans! Sort , rinse and soak your beans. Pressure can according to your altitude and guidelines. In that way you can grab a jar and heat. Otherwise you will be spending resources to cook your beans in a S.H.T.F. situation . And even just to use regularly, ready to use beans are awesome. Love you Deb. I truly miss you

These look delicious. Have to try them. 5 sticks of butter (1 ¼ c ghee) 3 large eggs 2 tsp Vanilla 1 pound of peanut butter (chunky or creamy) 1 ¾ c brown sugar 1 tsp baking soda 1 ¾ c granulated sugar ¾ tsp salt 5 ½ c flour It will produce 9 dozens peanut butter cookies DIRECTIONS: Beat butter until fluffy Add sugar until well blended Add brown sugar Beat about 3 minutes Add 2 tsp vanilla Add eggs 1 at a time (crack egg in a container before adding to mixture) Stop blender scrap sides Add peanut butter Continue blending Scrap out the sides Add flour slowly mixing until you have added all the flour You might need a little bit more or less depending on the humidity Form 1" ball and put on a cooking sheet Take fork, dip in the flour, and push down on the cookies 375 F for 10-11 minutes You can add whatever you want (chips, nuts, etc.)

I believe these are the ingredients: ½ c ghee 6 T egg powder & 9 T water 1 c sugar 2 tsp vanilla extract 2 c flour 2 tsp baking powder ½ tsp salt ¾ reconstituted milk 350 degrees for 35 minutes Check for doneness with toothpick Let it cool if you can LOL I would put all the dry ingredients in a jar and then add the liquid when making the cake. Don't forget to add the directions. ===== TO MAKE GHEE: The water and milk solids are removed making it healthier to eat. This will last without refrigeration for a long time. Put UNsalted butter in a baking dish for AROUND 2-3 hours in a 250 degree oven (You can mix salted and unsalted if you so desire) Buy the BEST butter you can. You will see stuff come to the top (SOME butters produce a lot of foam at the top - you can skim it off) and you will see the milk solids drop to the bottom Strain it with cheesecloth folded in 4 ways into jars

I sure hope you see this question! I work at Disney and we are able buy their amazing precooked bacon at a great price (Each package is 150 slices for $15!) I just pop it in the microwave for 2-3 min. I have canned raw bacon in the past, but can I pressure can precooked?

Miss you. Rewatching this to get the real recipe again to give to my grandson. He is 14 and already is the main cook in the house...by choice and to help momma with it. Son and daughter in law have 4 with 5 due in August. They home school and he works 2 jobs so his wife can do right by their family. Grandsons siblings are all girls 8 and below. This will help take a load off her.

I realize this is an old video but I'm going to ask anyway just in case some kind person can give me an answer 😊 Instead of storing these meals in a jar can I do mylar bags or vacuum sealing bags? My husband is a semi driver and he can't take the glass jars with him on the road. The next question is, he needs to use a microwave to cook these meals. Would adding it to a bowl and then add boiling water and let sit for 30 minutes or until rehydrated and cook in the microwave work? Thank you!

I have always canned. In the old days. My maw maw would hot pack meat at turn it upside down. We all ate it and are still alive I am 62 years old and I am canning my own meats. I have cold pack them and heat pack them both the cold packing method is so much easier and the flavor is so much better. Thank you for this video.
