Cooking Simulator EP295: [Sushi DLC] Day 6 - Investigating the Missing Ice Ice Cubes

@liabell3436 @badcat50gaming91 @ethansexton Thank you all for your suggestions and comments. As of now I've reached the end of Day 10 but sadly still no ice cubes yet. Only up to Day 8 has been edited, but I intend to edit Day 9 as well. As for Day10, I think new patches would've come out by then and I can check out the patch before deciding whether to continue or to restart. At this point, both directions make a lot of sense. While continuing allows me to not lose my progress, restarting allows me to have a better start and perhaps improve the sushi-ya's standing by the time it reaches this stage (Day 6) of gameplay. Chances are that after the patches are out, I might record for 1-3 more days (which includes redoing day 10), and find out if the missing ingredients appear before making the decision to restart or continue. 😀

Restarting would kinda suck but if that is the problem with the icecubes it might be necessary, but maybe like the other commenter said it is locked behind a higher level.

Haha yeah I believed too that restarting would help, but also appreciate your suggestion to continue as it could indeed be locked behind a higher level. the ice cube unlock a little bit further in the carrer mode not when u get the first temoura recipe i sadly cant remeber the level but it unlock little bit later

Ahh yeah that is also one of the reasons why I'd recorded a little further hoping that it'd unlock somewhere along the way. I do have a response for whether I would restart or continue but I'll write in separate comment in order to reply to you and the other commenters on this.

I would so a restart that you lose your bugged Sushi from reload the game i also dont know if you got trophies they also got lost after reload i played to Level 19 i think but than give up to much Bugs than further you play there is also a Performance issue in the Maki place my fps dropping like crazy and i have Not a Bad pc i9 14900kf rtx 4080 super and 64 ddr5 6000mhz RAM the game only use 35% of my pc

Ahh for the bugged sushi, I got rid of them by serving them as custom dishes. So most of them were served out or they disappeared at the end of the serving phase. As for the trophies, they're still there. As for the trophies, it was still there at Day 10 on the shelves. With the serving of the bugged out maki, the only game-breaking bugs I'm currently encountering are the lack of ice cubes and the tamagoyaki not not being recognized (I think it happened on day 10 though). I didn't encounter any lag on a much lower-spec computer but it was running at a high temperature.

Hi ive been watching your videos of this and also struggling with all the bugs. I ended up restarting now i know what im doing but have also kept the other save incase. I love your under bench storage and have been using that.

Thanks for watching! So could you please share what happened after the restart? May I ask if you managed to get the ice cubes to appear on the shop app and thereafter in the refrigerator? Haha as for the storage, I think they could've provided us with more space, both storage and also countertop space. XD Anyway, I'd made some changes with regards to storing the maki though, as cut maki don't store well compared to the uncut ones due to the bugs making the cut maki unpickable when holding a plate.

No I still don't have ice cubes and for some reason my tapamaygoyaki nigiri isn't registering but I'll try and work that one out as it worked before so I probably did something different. Yeah an island would definitely be good. There isn't enough space. Oh that's a good tip about the maki that was annoying. I'll try not cutting them. It does look like they've patched that a bit as now it has a button to place instead of needing advanced controls. I did find the tempura mixture worked without the ice though.

Ahh I also encountered the tamagoyaki nigiri issue where the tamagoyaki wasn't recognized and it was just a standard nigiri. That wasn't even accepted at custom serving counters either because it was technically only rice. I even remade new tamagoyaki on the spot (but reusing the oil in the pan) and the result was the same. Yeah I think the maki is best prepped as rolls and then stored at the same place were we store the cut ones, because they'd at least not glitch out. Wait.. how did you get the tempura mixture to work? :O

I think you should restart the career that way now that you have a grasp of what's going on it should be easier

Thank you for the suggestion. I was also on the brink of choosing a restart thinking it might allow whatever patches that are already in-place load in properly. Nonetheless, as for whether I'd restart or continue, I'd be writing a separate comment to address it and you'll tagged in it. :)
