for anyone wondering how those build plates work from what i know they have a microscope pattern etched into them kind of like a record but on a smaller scale which when viewed by the naked eye refracts light a certain way the printer plastic gets the pattern bossed into it because of its viscosity it flows into the tiny little grooves

Chocolate!! The particles of chocolate should be small enough to pick up the pattern!

Need to try something that starts liquid and cures to a smooth surface like. Chocolate, hard candy, wax, maybe hot glue, possibly even silicone if it doesn't bond to it

You can pour melted chocolate on them and it'll work

You should try nail polish to see if you can make a normal crème polish to have a holographic ‘chrome’ finish

Was it Simply Nailogical? I know she did but I'd be interested if anyone else tried it too

I believe it was originally ann reardon (not sure of spelling) from how to cook that, but I think they both tried it at one point or another and did actually succeed.

It works for chocolate if you know how to get the chocolate off of it

I wonder if melting a jolly rancher on the plate would work, and if it does then would the pattern be left on the candy once it cools down?
@air85362 күн бұрын
Im pretty sure chocolate would work I remember seeing The Action Lab make some sparkly rainbow chocolate on a diffraction grating (same stuff as that PEO plate)

You didn't cook it long enough and that's why you had to scrape it off
