Definitely hunts with a Weatherby, as far as rifle goes, 90% of the time. And if you think he's wearing only $1k worth of hunting clothing... 😳😂 $1k got me a Sitka early/mid season setup, no heavy outer layers. But then $300 got me a full set of Huntworth Disruption camo, and it's every bit the quality/warmth of Sitka. For the price of just a Sitka jacket, I got Huntworth's heavyweight bibs & parka, hooded base layer, light and heavy gloves, light and heavy hats, and a muff hand warmer, lol.

I come from a big city and went to newbrunswick last year 10 miles from town and into the woods in a wood cabin off grid, no running water or elctricity in the winter. Three people lived in the 10 mile area and most are related. (not to myself) first day my wife and I where walking through the snow a dude trailed us and we confronted him.he immediately handed us a bunch of canned moose stew from an old hunt and eexplained he didnt reconised us but looked hungrey and wasnt sure what to do.best stew I've ever eaten and I have never said an I'll word about that man. Point being yes you are way right. And thanks to him for probably saving our lives an few times.

Nice ratio. 1.4K likes to 10 dislikes. MeatEater is a great show. Nice to be able to watch the first few seasons as we watched the Netflix released seasons first. Getting people into and accepting hunting, as well as setting the standard for hunters everywhere. Respect the law, the animal and embrace the contradiction of love for the animal and hunt and the sadness that comes from taking a life. Thank you for the entertainment, information and inspiration. All the best to you Mr. Rinella and the MeatEater team.

Your son is so great. He is not a picky eater like most kids. Thank you for sharing your adventures in life with us. I remember my granddaddy hunting , fishing , and raising a garden. I was always excited to see what he killed whether squirrels or rabbits, or bass or brim. Whatever he killed is what grandma fixed for us to eat.He raised chickens, hogs, etc... He made is own dishes like sous meat, or liver pudding, We lived in the winter whatever he killed and whatever grandma could can or preserve. We never went hungry. I am 59 and those years are long passed as are our grandparents. But watching you hunt, fish, trap, etc reminds me of those great times of so long ago. thank you again for sharing your life with us.
