I dont think it was mean at all. Every single person is different and they have attributes that the other partner will find attractive different ways. He may have been attracted to his ex because yes, she was beautiful. But he ultimately chose you because your cute attributes are far more attractive to him than her beauty. My husband calls me all sorts of things and when he says I'm cute it makes me giddy. We have been married 9 years and I've had 2 kids so right now I dont feel beautiful or cute or attractive, but he still makes sure to tell me how cute or beautiful I am on a daily basis. It's not mean at all.

Second to last story you are the TA and you need to replace that vodka. That you broke he told you that he uses it for the pasta sauce. So you can't even get mad at him. Its not his fault that you can't remember he uses vodka for the sauce. And judging how you guys aren't talking you can tell that he upset. Just pay for it you the one who broke the bottle so pay what you broke.
