In all honesty, I'd recommend paid kits. They're worthwhile investments, and -- in my experience -- free youtube kits range from sub-optimal to downright terrible. Some of my favorite paid kits are prod db and dawizrd's Distra kits, prod viom's eternal v3, and kaydee pro's Beat Head. If I were to invest in 1, it would be Beat Head.
