English quiz to help you learn verbs associated with cooking in English.
There is a photo representing a verb in action accompanied by the definition / meaning of that verb. There are four alternatives to choose from as a part of this multi-choice quiz. Only one verb is correct.
The viewer has around 5 seconds to think which alternative is correct before the answer appears on screen with the pronunciation of the correct verb. You can click pause should you need more time to answer each question.
The 32 English verbs related to cooking in this video are:
add, bake, barbecue, beat, blend, boil, break, chop, cook, cut, drain, fry, grate, knead, measure, melt, microwave, mix, peel, pour, roast, scramble, sift, slice, sprinkle, squeeze, stir, stir-fry, tenderize, wash, weigh, and whisk. (Or course they don't appear in this order in the quiz)
