What a great opportunity and experience. Love Thai food. I've said it before but I really love and appreciate your descriptions. Most don't even bother - it's all about their sponsors, so thank you. 👏❤️

Impressive Charlie! I watched this video non stop. Em On's Thai Cafe in Naples, Florida has truly piqued my interest-I'm now craving a visit. I'm even planning to enhance the experience by bringing some Ka Prow (Thai Holy Basil) from my garden, boasting four delightful varieties. My personal favorite is the one with leaves and stems that take on a subtle purple hue in colder weather, accompanied by light lavender-colored flowers. Although I currently enjoy the best Thai food at Siam in Glendale, Arizona, situated on Northern, this video has left me eagerly anticipating my next meal. Your entertaining presentation has not only fueled my hunger but also sparked a desire to see more. I'm captivated by your style and enthusiasm, and I can't help but suggest the idea of you collaborating with Lek to create a delightful KZbin Thai cooking channel.

Thank you so much for taking the time to watch this episode! I'm very grateful for your feedback and perspective - i've been striving to create a video format that inspires travel and culinary expeditions. I will be visiting Lek in the near future to film a video at her restaurant in Naples, FL - she has an amazing life story that is captivating and intriguing. I have to agree - Thai basil is one of the most fragrant and magnificently satisfying aromatics you can grow. What an exceptional addition to a dynamic garden. Do you cook with Thai basil regularly? Have you tried adding it to Prik Nam Pla (spicy sauce) in addition to fresh cilantro? You've got me curious about blending basil with fish sauce, garlic, and cilantro root.

I was in the Seafood business in Jacksonville Florida for 25 years and sold a lot to a Thai restaurant. The owners name was Lek too, but the food is Awesome some of the best food I’ve ever had. Charlie if you ever get the chance to Eat Thai Duck soup it is life changing! Love the Videos!

My man! You are certainly no stranger to the allure of thai cuisine. I spent a good bit of time in Bangkok and Chiang Mai - wandering markets and sampling as much as I could. I've enjoyed a variety of duck noodle soups through the years - and i couldn't' agree more - something about the balance of the duck meat with thai aromatics is truly spectacular. I appreciate you watching the videos! thank you!

Thank you! This was certainly a longer cut. Apparently - longer KZbin videos perform better than short episodes, so I thought i'd give it a try. In the description I put a few links to the actual cooking process for each recipe - hopefully that makes it easier to navigate!

Great video, I really like your descriptions of the flavors. Making Thai food with items only available on an Island in Latin America is not an easy task. Great work with the filming and editing of your video, I will be watching and subscribing to your video's. Thank You

Thank you so much for checking out this video and exploring my channel. I hope this cooking video inspires you to try some of these Thai specialties for yourself. Filming in a busy kitchen is no easy task - my respect for Anthony Bourdain and his film crew increased exponentially while I was making this.

😅😂🤣We lived in the southern most town in Belize for two years. Make do with what you can get is not just an island thing, it's a Belize thing. Milk came to the Chicken store on Wed. night and if you didn't purchase your milk by Friday mid day you were going to go without until the next week. All of the meat was frozen except for the fish we caught our bought. Yep,, even the hotdogs were frozen.

You nailed it! Get it while you can, when you can...otherwise...it could be a week or more until the supply arrives. I was impressed with the produce markets on the southern end of Ambergris - they were consistently well stocked with produce grown on the mainland. Actually more impressive than the mennonite market (at least when I was there).
