Hi Kristen! That lil' zester is more for making lemon (or lime or orange) zest curls for drinks. Perhaps the most popular is a lemon curl(s) in a martini. I use a microplane zester in my culinary creations. It's a wonderful tool for citrus zest, as well as grating fresh ginger and garlic, too.
