Kristen, I have very dry skin on my face too and I highly recommend organic virgin coconut oil applied to your dry patches or your entire face if your entire face is dry. It's amazing and also doesn't make you more oily if you have combo skin. Happy Holidays, sweet lady!

I know this is probably late now, but I had the same problem with my t zone as well. I recommend using coconut oil because I use that for a week and it went away completely. Just a helpful tip 💞💞

My skin does the same thing in winter! I’ve been using la Roche posay and it’s amazing and hydrating and is very sensitive! I live in Canada so I don’t know if it’s sold in the U.S but hopefully this helps!

The IV thing is pretty unnecessary unless you have serious issues with dehydration, otherwise you can just take vitamins and drink some water & it will have the same effect.

jojoba oil is AMAZING for dry skin!!! i let the oil sit on my skin for a while before i exfoliate and my skin is so hydrated and smooth after! also jojoba oil isn't like coconut oil so it won't clog your pores ^-^

For your dry patch on your forehead. Still use your lotion on your face first, after that use a mix of jojoba oil and vitamin E oil at night only. I would start weening up to every other night. As it gets warmer again, maybe only once or twice a week. Pay attention to the IU strength on the bottle when purchasing Vitamin E oil. The stronger it is, the better it will work. It is also very thick, so keep that in mind also. It works up here in the Midwest, so hopefully it will work where you are as well. Also... drink more water if you are not completing your daily intake. Hope this helps!

Jojoba oil is also the closest to our skins natural make up. Coconut oil can actually cause more irritation for your skin. From my personal research, I and a lot of other people actually get more irritated skin unfortunately. It smells amazing if you buy quality! If you would like to try coconut oil for yourself, I recommend Skinny & Co coconut oil (most expensive, but smells amazing!) or buy in bulk from Swanson health products.

You should do a hot oil treatment for your dry skin! You can mix fractionated coconut oil with some vitamin e oil (sometimes I add essential oils like tea tree or rose) and then rub it onto your face or in dry areas. Then take a clean wash cloth, soak it in hot water, wring out the water so the towel is steamy hot and then place on your face for 2-5 minutes. This steams the oil into your face to heal your dry skin. Once you’ve steamed the oil wipe your face with the towel until all the oil residue is gone. Hope this helps!

Btw for your skin put some petroleum jelly on it. I have dry cracked skin. After using my skin healded. Ps. Do it at night before going to bed so your face is moisturized in the morning. I put it on my face after washing my face at night and then I put moisturizer and I'm set. The next morning I put moisturizer. ONLY DO THIS At NIGHT OR YOU WILL HAVE A VERY GREASY FACE THID ALSO LIMITS ACNE ON MY FACE.

When I get intense dry patches, I will put a thin layer of aquafor before bed and leave it so while I sleep it works its magic. After a few days it should be all good :)
