i love that micah has purple hair! it looks so good on her, and such a fun way for her to express herself. when i was little, my parents were super strict and i couldn’t even paint my nails until i was 12 years old. things like hair dye, nails, makeup were deemed too “grown” 🙄

Jess, this is so funny my husband and I right before we got married (we were waiting on each of our divorces to be over) had a French Toast bake off, and his children and two of their friends were the judges...one of the categories was “the ability to absorb syrup” they made up the categories. I won by 5 points. I separate my egg whites and yokes. With the whites I add sugar and vanilla and beat until they peak! Then incorporate them into the yokes that have cinnamon in them. Use Texas Toast as well and in the oven well heated with foil for 10 min. I serve with syrup and powdered sugar. From time to time I throw a little nutmeg in there to have a different taste. Also if you have a cast iron griddle it’s amazing on that too!
