Due to his TBI, Perry doesn't have an internal scanning ability or perspective. Normal people internally scan themselves and compare it to social norms. They take on the perspectives of other people and look at themselves. Perry can't do that on his own. He can only scan externally the behavior of other people, but he can't view himself through the thoughts and feelings of others. Consequently, he has barely any idea of how repulsive he is to women or how unrealistic his interest in beautiful young celebrities appears. It's not that he doesn't have a sense of shame. He does. Perry isn't a sociopath. It's just that he lacks the ability to self reflect. Someone like Tom has to do it for him.

Garrett, this was not a natural high Perry was on this stream. He is back on the Excedrin. He was acting like someone who has been off caffeine for a minute and then gets a big dose. It was either that or Adderall. He is NEVER like this, at least in recent memory.
