I have been a Thrive consultant since 2010. I remember getting the sample and tasting the different things in the little cup. I said 'This tastes just like the 'real' thing.' Of course, that is because every thing Thrive IS the REAL thing. I enjoy watching you use the food in recipes. I just put in a little of this, a handful of that, add water and cook for a short while and, batta bing batta boom, dinner is ready!

When you cut in butter, it is so fast and even if you freeze your stick of butter and use your box grater to grate it. It only takes a minute, and it's in tiny pieces you can just fluff into your other ingredients.

Planning to do this dish today. So excited. I did go to thrive and get the recipe on my iPad so I can refer to it while I cook. The reason your cooking videos are so important to me is that my disabilities make cooking tough. Watching someone who walks me through slowly really helps Thank you Elizabeth. God bless you for your teaching skill.

I have a tip for you, combine the butter and flour together in a food processor or magic bullet, stick in the fridge BN until you're ready to combine with the other ingredients. it works great.

My husband made a simple cover for the sinks in our camper by putting two pieces of 1” x 2” wood, one on left side and one on right side of a cutting board a little bigger than the two sinks. This raised it up so I had a solid working surface. It just slid into the cabinet below sink area when not in use. Later he built a small cabinet space for cookie sheets, pizza pans, etc. to store on their sides to use less room. He made it tall enough for my sink cover, too. Later I had him make one with thin sheet of plywood so I could tile to match counter tops. He was the most handy man-anything I suggested he could make and so, so many ideas of his own. Maybe Bill will make one for you. Bet you would like it.

When you cut in butter, it goes easier when you cut the butter on a cutting board in lengthwise slices, make strips, and the chop In small pieces. Add to flour mixture and then use your pastry cutter. It will become crumbly in no time with minimal effort.

Hi Thrivers, That looks scrumptious AND easy. Others have said that you should do more cooking videos. No pressure here but yeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeees, I agree! I am anxious to get plan one. I have made several things this past week that would have lent themselves well to using Thrive products. By watching your videos I see ways to save time and effort. Not to mention the lack of waste. How about a mini processor...Walmart has them for $9.93, but they vary in price when you get to the brand names. I was thinking of getting one for mixing streusel topping. You have to pulse it so it doesn't get over mixed. It's good for onions, parsley, garlic, etc, and speeds things up when making a salad.

It is a very long drawn out process to get products like this into other countries. But I have been told that Thrive is working on opening up a freeze drying facility in the UK. Looks good. Never cooked or ate dehydrated food. My questions is on salt, fat & sugar in the products. I'm on Weight Watchers and I must watch and count these in my points. Could you enlighten we on this with Thrive?
@LiveSimpleLiveFree6 жыл бұрын
Thrive Life food is freeze dried, not dehydrated. There is a difference. Freeze dried is much healthier and easier to use than dehydrated. Thrive has a few meals, called Simple Plate, that are complete meals. These meals have some spices and a few extra things in them. But the majority of Thrive food is sold as individual ingredients so that you can cook your own favorite recipes. You can buy can of peas, a can of broccoili, a can of shredded beef, etc. These cans have NOTHING in them except to product. If you look at the ingredients of a can of peas it says.... "Peas." That's it. Blueberries are JUST blueberries. Nothing else. They are all non-GMO, no additives, no preservatives, no MSG, no salt or sugar or fat added. Here is a video we did about the nutrition of Thrive Life foods. kzbin.info/www/bejne/iZPaf6qfbs95nck
