Especially, the ones from the South. Keep doing what you're doing. I love your channel and it helps bring joy to many people who are finding homes away from home ❤🤗

Gal, you got it going on!! That looks delicious. My wife is Mexican and I always envisioned she and I making a dish to go with all my country folk in virginia at holiday time. My Gramma just passed at 93 a couple weeks ago - she was like the matriarch - wouldn't tolerate change.... But this would be perfect. My wife and her family already make"posole" , a Mexican stew or soup with seafood. I think yours is great.

Look up posole.... Hominy, pig feet, veggies, and whatever else you want really. There's a white (chicken broth or stock) and a red - seasoned heavily.... But all good with so many ingredients. Avocado on top, plus lime.... But your gumbo looks perfect. Enjoy.
