I’ve never had dumplings like your’s. I’m going to try that also. I have to say that I really enjoy all of your recipes. You are my favorite Caribbean chef. You are always in points. What exactly you used for your green seasoning?
@CookingWithRia4 жыл бұрын
Green seasoning recipe: cookingwithria.com/2013/03/caribbean-green-seasoning-recipe.html Usually a blend of scallions, parsley, cilantro, thyme, Caribbean seasoning pepper or red bell pepper and lots of garlic.

I think the sauce is too watery. It should have a thicker consistency, but it looks good. anyway and rhe dumplings are just right
@bonitaweekes43664 жыл бұрын
You mean you had to criticise? Its hers, suppose she doesn't like the sauce thicker? You do yours and let her do hers, better yet why you don't let us see yours.
@elizabethwilliams50684 жыл бұрын
@@bonitaweekes4366 I didnt mean to be critical. It was just an observation. She should have used less water and more coconut milk. Im sure she would agree with me.
@CookingWithRia4 жыл бұрын
@@elizabethwilliams5068Your comment came across negative since ‘watery’ generally suggests lack of flavor. I did not add water in the recipe. I used flavorful fresh coconut milk and was very happy with the result-especially with the addition of the grated coconut. I stated why I did that in the video. The salmon also released its natural juices. That’s pure flavor there as well. Also keep in mind that sauce thickens as it cools. With all due respect I’ve been cooking for more than 35 years and I do know how to get the results I WANT. You have the option to make it as thick as you want in your kitchen but know that there’ll be no sauce as it cools. Thanks for stopping by.
@elizabethwilliams50684 жыл бұрын
@@CookingWithRia I didnt know you would take time out of your schedule to respond to. something like this. I think the sauce looks like a soup and I also think you're being petty and juvenile.
