Thanks for this comment. I think the brother could have explained better hence he brought it up in the Islamic perspective. Yes, you can definitely meet the person you want to marry but in the presence of parents or guardians. This way, Zina (unlawful sex can be avoided). Most people date before marriage but it's against Islam

I’m Gambian , some of us fry first so the meat isn’t wet, Senegal will fry the meat first in some cases it depends on the cook
