Miss Tip.... I ain't never met you in person.... but I love you girl !!! Lol... Your videos warm my heart every single time. Every. Single. Time. The flood gates opened up in my mouth on these Oxtails for real though. I just want to say something, and I'm just going to say it about this dish right here. See, I'm an 'ol white boy from Detroit currently living in this hole in the earth county in Florida, I won't say what county, but anyways.... You remind me of so many good times I had up there throughout my life, and all the great people that I would surround myself with. I have yet to fill that void living down here. This here is just a short cooking video, but you and all your video's fill that void, and I just wanted to give you some love on that fact. Keep 'em coming Miss Tip!! Oh, and for those that might not know..... Go hit up that Google Machine and see where 'Oxtails' got started from. The History behind Oxtails speaks huge volumes from where it started, to where it is today!! The History makes them that much better.........and the joke is on "them". Period.

Don't be afraid to use bananas that have turned dark and almost black (gooey) as they fry up sweet. That is how the Cubans use them as they buy plantains/bananas that are black in color as they are sweet - do not scrape the gooey part of the banana as that is the sweet part. Love your Oxtail recipe as I am going to use the ingredients to prepare ribs today. Just love you and your cooking.

Yumm ...Shoot i remember when oxtails were considered a cheaper cut of meat..I love oxtails...i use them mainly in soups /stews ...But geez at my grocery store they want dang near 20 bucks for 5,or 6...and that ain't nearly enough .. Love your videos..Thank you so much for sharing ❤😊👍

The Butter beans takes on the flavor of the Ox-tail gravy. It’s mostly used to help stretch the dish & thicken the gravy.
