I Love The GOLDEN KNIGHTS _ The Vegas Strong Slogan is in big part due to the Knights getting to the Cup in their first year. After the tragic events of Oct 1 2017 The Knights were everywhere in the city, the charitable events sponsored by the team or any vigil or hospital visit members of the team showed up & they played their asses off for one reason to help the City recover from a devastating tragedy & collectively they became invested in the city in a purely altruistic way. the team embodied the idea of "Vegas Strong a City coming together"

It amazes me how I forget things myself. If I didn't read a lot I'd have no recollection of how things have been even during my own life. The media memory holes things and we forget. Just like how they've been banging on about lab leak for at least a year but haven't mentioned Operation Warp Speed in a couple years. Born and raised Vegas resident and fan. Dude. That was probably the most fiercely played game 1 I have ever seen in my 34 years of watching hockey. I hope it carries to every other game of the series because if so, this could go down as one of the all time greats. Which would be awesome considering the markets both teams come from. Great for the league so fsr amd that's what matters.
