NHL is on ESPN again, and when did they take it off NBC? CBC yeah that’s sad I liked their broadcasts.
@diegojuarez80413 жыл бұрын
@@JosephDeStefano924 this summer the NHL decided that the next US tv deal would have 2 partners. ESPN took over the majority of those rights and Turner Sports (TNT) took the rest. Both signed a 7 year deal where ESPN will broadcast 4 Stanley Cup Finals and TNT 3. Also ESPN took the NHL TV app to their stream app ESPN+.

When Martinez scored the OT goal, I was the only one awake in the house, but I started screaming and scared everyone. 🤣 *I could never miss a game after that season!* I even got married to my hubby from Washington, and he’s Kings fan now too! 😉❤️ #GoKingsGo

Marty Brodeur in 2003 Stanley Cup playoffs: 7 shutouts (more than any other goalie), 3, yes, THREE of those shutouts came on the biggest stage (against Anaheim in the final), including the decisive game 7. PHWA: well yeah, cool… let’s give the Conn Smythe Trophy to Giguere (he was fantastic back then ofc). Don’t get me wrong, but that was disgusting to watch.

The early 2010's Blackhawks are what got me into hockey in the first place. I never watched or cared much about hockey until that team and my dad convinced me to watch some playoff games. I remember yelling and waking my dad up after the Andrew Shaw headbutt goal that was disallowed because I had gotten so into watching them by that point. And then I got a Cubs World Series win the next year so that whole half decade was pretty good for me as a young Chicago fan. The Bears weren't great, although I'm an Indianapolis Colts fan because my grandpa worked for them and Pacers fan because my grandparents lived in Indy, but for baseball and hockey it was a good time to be a Chicago fan.
