Agreed. I'm a Pens fan and everyone here was cheering for Vegas because of Fleury (even though those same people blamed Fleury for every loss while he was a Penguin lol) and I didn't get it. Ovi definitely deserved at least one (and an expansion team making the Final is just absurd).

@@kebabson3797 I mean, I didn't care that much but I would have much rather seen Ovi win one than an expansion team. This might blow your mind but I'm capable of respecting one of the greatest players ever while still not necessarily liking the team he plays for. Oh, and being a 'real' fan means supporting the logo, not the players. You're probably one of those people who wears a Vegas Fleury jersey around Pittsburgh.

The segment called "The Wait" talks about Bourque's career building up to that moment, and Flames HOF'er Lanny McDonald gets really emotional talking about seeing that moment of Sakic passing the Cup. It's so awesome to hear moments like that of great players recognizing not just the skills of other great players, but the character of those players, and that would be Sakic's class.

The point is not that there is a comparison between two plugs (which neither are) even though that’s what the person who brought up Maroons name was implying. Kessel was pissed on the entire time he was in Toronto and haters like to joke about his physique but he just quietly went on to be one of the leagues deadliest snipers and won back to back cups. It’s a shame that he’s being wasted in Arizona as they try to tank for a draft pick.

I remember yelling and waking my dad up after the Andrew Shaw headbutt goal that was disallowed because I had gotten so into watching them by that point. And then I got a Cubs World Series win the next year so that whole half decade was pretty good for me as a young Chicago fan. The Bears weren't great, although I'm an Indianapolis Colts fan because my grandpa worked for them and Pacers fan because my grandparents lived in Indy, but for baseball and hockey it was a good time to be a Chicago fan.
