Hi, And many thanks for the upload of many fantastic shots of how a Pike takes and spits-out a lure. I used to work at a fish farm in North America and I had a Pike trained to come to the surface, to feed as it lived under a level, that is flat road bridge which every vehicle had to drive over to reach the lakes. I used to get it to rise a metre out of its usual place under the bridge and it would take all the small fish I could give him. It was the longest Pike I have seen maybe 15 Lbs ?

I think it's pretty cool that the pike in North America, Europe, and Asia are all so similar. I want to catch them all. Although, I have to say that I thing North America got pretty lucky with the Musky strains :). I'm biased of course.

Is that a Muskie or Pike? I remember Night Fishing at a freshly filled lake like we did every year and I remember the time I was catching a 3 foot pike on a 3 foot pole with some 10 pound test line and I was only age 5 or 6 and reeled it in and everybody had a light on it and it got all the way to the shore and shook its head and busted the line, you could see its fucking teeth hanging out before it broke the line.

Pike really spit the lure out fast after tasting it, I reckon you have to set the hook fast with pike, they don't really take it and swim away with it at all.
