Funny,my kiwi one arrived the other day but like you said with a larger nose it does let light in but it does not steam up and the cushioning is great. Especially the little bit of cushioning around the nose part. Then you mentioned that you might do a comparison against the vr covers face cover which I've ordered and waiting to arrive to see which is better.As the vrbcovers face cover has a built-in nose guard which seems slightly bigger and might help stop the light more from the nose part.That will arrive on Friday,so I can't wait to see the difference between them both to be honest.The Kiwi gives you two same size cushioning pads plus the lens protector,which is great. Maybe I will stick with the Kiwi and send the Vr covers face covers back for a refund.Great review,thank you.

Glad you enjoyed it. I'll do a comparison video if enough people ask for it. In the meantime I did do a separate full review of the VR Cover facial interface which you can view here... kzbin.info/www/bejne/aovaZGene6qMi9k

As I’m in Australia the VR cover, AMVR and Kiwi design take 2-3 week to get over here, I purchased one from oculium vr here in Aus. The problem is there is light leak because the foam doesn’t quit seal the gap around the side. I’m guessing the same problem might have happened with AMVR and that is why they included side wedges. Is there any light leak from the kiwi design?

I haven't had any light leakage from the sides with either the kiwi design or vr cover ones.

Does the Kiwi frame feel any wider? My issue is the stock frame feels too narrow and bruises my cheeckbones.

Check out my other video comparing this to the vr cover one. I cover face shape a bit in that one. In a nutshell though, the Kiwi Design one is a flatter profile than other facial interfaces I've tested and so is well suited to bigger heads and wider faces. Hope that helps.

Dose the kiwi facepad fog up? I know you mentioned the vents but i just bought a superus face pad and had to return it because of poor quality.
@MyTechGearGaming Жыл бұрын
The vents in the kiwi face pad massively help in cutting out your lenses fogging up. If you get super hot then having a fan on in your room blowing air on you can also help keep you cool so you don’t heat up so much too ( which can also help with VR sickness too )

I feel like I’m going to break the vr putting the face pad on. Any tips?
@MyTechGearGaming Жыл бұрын
You’re not going to break it. You do need to push down on the face pad so that it ‘clicks’ into the headset. If you’re pushing down and it’s not doing that then the face pad is probably misaligned so just reposition it and try again.
