The "Northern Industrial Hand Truck" is really not a new achievement in technology. On the contrary, the thing is good for nothing. Okay, you can climb stairs with it, which is extremely strenuous with a higher weight. I'd rather take a sack truck that has runners at the back and pull it over the steps like that. Because when you try to steer these six-wheeled handcarts, you quickly realize that this invention is only for the dustbin.

A nice tree-felling tool @ 3:58. An increase in timber exports of 42.6% in 2020? It appears that *while the citizen economy was forced to lockdown, resource extraction industries took the oportunity to increase output and reduce the numbers of carbon-scrubbing trees from the environment.* As I understand the media had proclaimed, and continues to proclaim, a "lumber shortage" throughout 2020, 2021 and 2022... elevating the price of lumber globally. *I wonder if Klaus Schwab is aware of this development as WEF-aligned nations build out the Natural Asset Economy for the questionable intent of combatting climate change?* I wonder where Germany's 3 billion cubic feet of timber went? No doubt this "surplus" went to furnish timber-deprived countries.

5:40, how do you drop the log? You need another person to open the tongs? There's a reason they don't show it dropping any logs, cause it can't without another person. You couldn't get out and open them because you need someone to raise the boom. lol
@garrypennington95762 жыл бұрын
Yea I was thinking about that, couple ropes and a pulley would fix it though
@matthewcetorelli84512 жыл бұрын
The fcuk do you need a 2nd person for? Here's an option that'll blow your mind: once you successfully put it on the ground, get the fcuk up and do it your-goddanm-self, as it was clearly meant for. It lifts heavy-ass logs that one would, otherwise, be unable to move. Is that not good enough for you? Do you want it to walk your dog and make your bed in the morning while it's at it??
@thedennis44122 жыл бұрын
Yes it lifts them, but it can't drop them without you getting out of the machine to open the pincer manually. If you have to get out of the machine to manually open the pincer then how is this device better than a simple chain? DERP. I imagine you also use your ratchet as a hammer sometimes. Bless your heart.
@matthewcetorelli84512 жыл бұрын
@@thedennis4412 Okay, NOW I understand your gripe. Well, I think your answer lies more in the prior rather than the latter. Wrapping a log in a chain is a pain in the dick. Certainly more laborious than just picking the cocksucker up with The fucking Claw from Toy Story. And still slightly less of a hassle during the finishing stages as well, you've still got to hop off and drop the motherfucker either way. Unless, of course, you were referring to *dragging* it out with the chain... In which case, I would just assume the appeal would be the vertical lift aspect.

The DIY machine they show painting the parking lot is cheesy as hell. Better to pay a little more and have someone use a graco to stripe your parking lot with the same paint used on roads. Aerosol paint doesn't last as long, sometimes flakes off, has overspray and just doesn't look as good.

I take it you're no arborist. Well, neither am I but here's a few scenarios I can rattle off the top of head right off the bat: *Dead trees.* They're a fire hazard as well as a potential falling hazard. *Disease.* Just like you and I, plants are susceptible to disease and some diseases spread like a case of crabs at a 1970's backyard orgy. They can quite quickly wipe out an entire genus of a particular type of tree out of existence. Not unlike what's currently happening to the Cavendish banana and had previously happened to Gros Michel bananas (now thought to be extinct) in the 1950's. *Invasive species.* I'm tired of explaining concepts that I should have just listed but instead, decided to go into detail on each one in an attempt share in the knowledge while simultaneously stroking my own ego by demonstrating my -rather mediocre- level of intellect to hopefully impress strangers on the internet. Anyway, I'm going to assume you know what an invasive species is. I also challenge you to imagine any other possible scenarios in which felling a tree is beneficial to an ecosystem. If you do manage to think of any, just keep them to yourself. Don't post them because nobody will give a fancy feathered fcuk, just as nobody will one about anything I've said here today. Learn from my mistakes. All you're going to do is waste time you can never get back and further alienate yourself from your peers. I've come too far and not commenting is no longer an option but there's still hope for you.

Some pretty useless crap there. No faller will ever take the mechanical wedge a electric drill and ample supplies of batteries for a days work, just to pack them around the mountain side. 40 extra lbs they do not need in the bush. The tongs have been around for hundreds of years and there is a reason they are not used daily as it takes more than one person to let go of log. Other stupid stuff too, just because someone in a office thought of it does not make it useful and if a engineer came up with the idea , you can be sure it is a waste of time
