Here's the fantasy football trophy i made a few years ago. After finding a silver bowl from our local Salvation Army we decided to make a huge base for it. So for around $5 we built this great trophy for our fantasy league. I also got a cheap engraver from Harbor Freight and used it to engrave a metal plaque and engrave the names of each years winner. It's just the right size, sort of big, but not too big to have on a shelf in an office or living room.

How did you mount the bowl to the trophy? I am trying to make one of these and trying not to drill through the bowl.

The bottom of the bowl had a lip on it. So i cut a piece of metal that fit over the lip and when i tightened the bolt it locked it down. It's not perfect but i thought the same thing as you, i didn't want to cut, drill, or attach anything to the bowl.

What are the dimensions of the base? I’m tryin to make a replica of the orange bowl trophy for my dad and the base is the same

I dont know, maybe 14x14x14 for the bottom section and maybe 8x8x8 for the upper?

Maybe 10"-12" diameter at the edge. Maybe 7" tall.

I’m gonna be honest with you bud… That trophy would make me want to retire from the league immediately! But props to ya! Ohh ffs, just have everyone throw down $10 a piece and buy a trophy. I can’t believe how much I’m letting this homemade trophy get to me 🤣 It’s all in good fun, have a great 2022 draft!
