I agree It's all about top wheel blade position ...keeping the teeth just front of centre and keeping the brushes tight always reduces drift on my Startrite 352 👍

I just did this today and I discovered that if you leave the pipe in the center when you are dumping the resin it makes a good agitator to help quickly get out the old resin.

The more superflous features the more potential for future money making and job security is a part my take on the endless fragmentation and elaboration of new needless "parts". The theory of obsolete things is built on creating a new context for the same old variables, shining them as "new". The old saying "There's too many variables" still holds true, and is the foundation of endless modifications. It's a rare company which strives for the perfection in the "intuitive" workflow of gadgets. I believe Steve Jobs was one such purist.

You explained it with a paracord, but not demonstrated with it. Tried and did rotate but moved right back. Also tried inserting one at the bottom, moving both up and down…same result.
