My son and I took the Cool&Fun 150W Electric Skateboard for a test and neither of us have skateboarding experience so it was taken slow and looked at for the features and functionality. This electric skateboard charges both the board and controller with MicroUSB, the controller allows you to use the thumb dial to accelerate and break but the break is a slow deceleration not a hard break so it won't throw you from it if you just quick thumb the brake. It goes up to 10mph and it has a reverse button which puts it in reverse mode so remember to switch it back or could cause confusion if in reverse or forward mode. Play around with the board without anyone on it first to get a feel for the controls, the battery sits under board and is 2000mAh and lasts for 7.5 miles according to the company. The 27.5 inch wide electric skateboard can handle up to 15 degree grade and supports a max of 200 pounds using it.

I purchased this e skate but I cannotfor the life of me, understand if i'm doing something wrong: i can't make it move with the remote. Is there a combination of button to press?

No, just charge the skateboard and make sure batteries are in the controller. Do you see the controller come on. So if you have board and remote both on and they aren't paired, you need to contact their support with instructions if there is a way to repair. I don't have those instructions handy and couldn't find them.
