I have another neat trick: if the computer operating the two big screens freezes, you don't have to turn off the car, and turn it on. You only need to push and hold the radio on/off button for like 10 seconds, to reboot the computer - even while driving. Happened to me about 3 times in 1.5 years.

This has been a constant issue on my 2016 lease, at least 2-3 times a month. I asked Infiniti about it and they say they can't duplicate the error to fix, so my only option was to turn off the car and turn it back on again. I will try this the next time it occurs!

A better way to do your 2nd feature (getting the windows back up) is to hold the lock button on the key fob. This rolls up the windows and closes the sun roof - works on all Infiniti Q/QX series. Don't waste time taking the backup key out of the fob.

Hey Anish, loving the channel. You’ve done a great job. I’m currently on the market for a 2015 Q50 Sport 3.7L, and was wondering what would be a great deal to purchase from either a private seller or small dealership at this very time. I’m seeing $17-21 thousand, but have also heard to keep searching for something closer to $15k. What’s a good mileage range to stick to? It’ll be my first Infinity so I’m a bit clueless here. Should I also just consider the premium trim or possibly even looking for the 2014 version? I’m not quite sure what the difference between the 2014 and 2015 is other than a slower infotainment system. Any help would be greatly appreciated bro. Oh and I’m looking in Boston USA

Hi David, if you are for sure going with the 3.7L engine (2014-2015) then you don't really have much to worry about engine wise in terms or reliability. However, I would strongly advise against a 2014 as this was the 1st year of manufacturing and there were a lot of issues with the infotainment system as you mentioned yourself. As for the trims, I believe getting a fully loaded trim would be better bang for buck. You are paying a little bit more yes but you are getting real leather seats, akebono big brake kit and paddle shifters used in GTR models. On top of that you will get wood trims instead of a fake carbon fibre trim but that's very minor. I would also get all the tech package as it is a nice safety/comfort feature to have for not a lot of money. I'm not too sure about the prices but $15k does sound really low so if you can get one for that price given that it's been maintained well and everything is up to date then you got lucky and you should get it but in Canada, that would be hard to find. Mileage wise I got mine at 30k kilometres but I've seen Q50s with upwards of 200k kilometres so i'm pretty sure you will be good as long as you can get one with less than 60k kilometres

For the 2015 model the intouch app does not support that specific model. Same with the connection app. I basically have 2 screens that don't do anything and the top one just shows clock and GPM. Which is a bummer. Would have wanted navigation or carplay or something to download apps. The Intouch system is basically useless. I have the 2015 sport model. Idk if it's just mine though.

MIBASO88 the VQ37 is as reliable as it gets. It’s been around for over 10 years and you can easily get over 200k+ mileage on it. Fully loaded 2015 cpo is the same one I have and the same one in this video 😁

On the rearview camera when the curb disappears from the screen is a good time to stop, it puts your exhaust tips right at the curb. As long as its a low curb. But you have to watch out for dips in the parking lot because your car will drop even lower when parking in a dip which are caused by sprinkler puddles and runoff.

I have this car, and don't understand why you can't roll the windows back up and close the sunroof with the key fab by pressing and holding the lock button, just like you can roll everything down by holding the unlock button. It would be much handier if it started raining and you needed to put the windows up. Even with the key in the door it won't close the sunroof.

The next generation of automotive development has to be near real time with customers, the days of hiding the designers away in some building in Cali won't work anymore in an evolutionary economy.

I have the same one. It's nice driving with a lead foot and still getting 24.5 mpg ;) Have had zero issues with it in 4 years.

Moe Asadi depends on which engine you get tbh. The 3.7 engine is bulletproof whereas the 3.0 engine is a new platform so it’s expected to have a few issues which I’m sure will be fixed for good in the coming years. Great car overall no complaints 😊
