The most jarring part of this design is the clear distinction between the two displays. Bottom one looks like it is OLED and very deep black contrast, and the other looks completely different, like a last gen TFT. Really cheezy looking

This system is by far my favorite system out of anything out there to date. I love technology and Infiniti and Acura are heading in the right direction with these dual screen systems imo. I would like to see more like these in other vehicles in the future. Its so amazing!

My only issue with the intouch tech is the laggy bluetooth. I have a 2016 Q50 and there's a 2-3 second lag when I select a song to play on my phone. My friend's 2014 Hyundai sonata is immediate and responsive.

Everyone that's griping over their q50s on here.. lol it kind of doesn't make sense to me. Did you test drive and play with it before you bought it? I was hellbent on a Lexus IS 200t F sport prior to purchasing my Q50. Compared to the pricing and what you get in the Lexus F sport packages... the difference in features (especially for what I was wanting) and handling when you drive are night and day... as well as the size of the vehicle. The only thing I wish is that the car in general had a more aggressive look. I'm definitely pleased. Just trying to learn how all of this stuff works. Proud owner of a 2016 Premium 3.0t Q50.

maybe your processing system is the issue as is the case with many systems. my 16mbps allows me to watch smoothly.

which model come with the remote engine start from the key fob from factory. I am looking for a 2015 or 2016 Q50 Infiniti with that feature.

drbabyface4u2 I have a 2016 premium Q50 and using my key fob I can start the car and / or let down my windows and let back my sunroof as well. Just depends on the package you get. I have the 2016 q50 premium 3.0T hope this helped

I looked into this as well and was advised not to remove the oem radio head. Also as now Infiniti isn’t willing to update the system to enable CarPlay in older models.

Alex, - not being able to access navigation graphics "while in motion" is very similar to "Not texting" while driving. There are "industrial ethics" in these designs! You may want to access the National Highway Safety Administration recommendations on "infotainment auto systems. rule of thumb is that graphics belong at the "highest part of the instrument panel (BMW, Lexus and Audi) are among the best. Most American designers get this all wrong!!!

n777ua i know this is 3 years old but.... new bmw and some Mercedes still have these old school vents. Trust me I’m car shopping right now and was extremely dissapointed by that. imo it looks cheaper in those cars esp with the basic ass buttons and where they are located.. Infiniti is holding its brand down in comparison

As an owner of Q50 I have to say its infotainment system is useless garbage based on outdated Android and slow mobile Intel processor. I'm trying to avoid using it unless it's absolutely necessary.

I could not agree with you more . I have the Q50 Sport. It's fun to drive. But the infotainment system really spoils the experience. The two screens and their controls are not integrated. One set of controls works on the upper screen (the back key, for example) and not the lower screen. And vice versa. It's like the screens were developed by two separate teams, who never talked. You don't get used to it. It annoys. My iPhone iPod function connects 50% of the time. I was told the Andriod system does not want to play with the iPhone. The station preset listing does not follow the selected station. You can use the steering wheel control to move up the line of presets. But the displayed presets remain the same. You have to manually change the displayed preset list or have your entire list memorized in order. And the system will crash on occasion, which kills all of your climate, infotainment and phone functions. You have to stop the car, kill the engine to reboot the system. My wife has a BMW and the iDrive system, while it is tougher to navigate due to the single screen, it is bulletproof. I must say I like the Q50s, but the daily poke in the eye from the infotainment system means that I will be moving on.

I had infiniti vehicles for 6 years and the nav system was ok but the graphics are tired. I wonder why you didnt show the bird view which is the best view infiniti offers but its tired conpared to what audi offers. even the standard mmi navigation plus offers better graphics and even terrain mapping. the google view gets a lot of hype and yes the new landsat imagingin is clearer than it used to be but doesnt really show a good 3d view. it depends on what you really want. I have a 2016 S3 and it destroys this weak infiniti view. and dont even try to compare this intouch system with audi connect. the only advantage infiniti has is its voice control. too bad because I really was interested in the q60 but tech wise its too limited. and wheres android auto?
