I have a 2010 also. Dont forget you can lock your breaks while seating at a light. Its call the Hold feature. Change Dynamic Seat to 2. the lumbar will move when your turning around curves.

Hi, Nice that's cool to hear you also have a 2010 S550. What color is your s550? Thank you for mentioning about the Hold feature , I completely forgot about the Hold feature when I was creating this video. The Hold Feature definitely comes in handy when you're sitting at a light like you had mentioned. I didn't know that the lumbar support moved as the car would turn curves, thats a very good feature. Everybody forgeting about the one feature i love which is the driver assist if you go out of your lane it will slow and pull you back in your lane and the cruise control if you come up on a car it will slow you down and when the car moves out of the way it will regain its speed, also when you have head lights on as you turn the headlights turn too, auto trunk closer and opening LED light change color on inside mines have tv in dadh board i have a 2011,so many feature will be here all day naming them all

Got 2012 S550 black on black with 45k miles few months ago with one owner only clean title. Best car you can have. Installed spoiler, rims staggered wrapped on Michelin tires, tinted all around oh and debaged it and installed all black V8 biturbo and black side markers. Looks perfect now.

I 100% agree with you, they will never make the S class how they used to make them. The newer ones I feel like quality is degrading and parts are more less quality and more plastic stuff. How has maintenance/problems been on this car? I've never had a Mercedes. I can change air suspension on my town car, water pumps, same on my suburban, pinion seals, wheel bearings, etc. Are these cars much more complicated? I'd like a 2010 or 11. I like the reface and pre-turbos.

Hi, I apologize for the late response here. The 2010 and 2011 are very good years for the S550. A lot of the issues from the early w221's was improved and fixed in the 2010 2010- These cars are very solid. The only repair I had to do on my car was the "wheel speed sensor". My experience with the 2010 has been positive. Coming from someone that has owned different years of the S'classes and other Mercedes with air suspension; I would say that air suspension is something that can go out with age and time. If you know how to do it yourself that, it will save you lot of money. Its best if you can do it yourself and save money vs having to take the car to the shop. As far as maintenance, I would keep up with oil change, spark plugs, batteries(aux battery and regular battery) and service transmission. Just the basic servicing. And also don't let these cars sit. They like to be driven. Stuff that went wrong on my car was - "wheel speed sensor". Hi bro, I apologize for the late response here. So I did some digging around to see if its possible to change from Fahrenheit to Celsius on the W221. I went through some Mercedes Forums online and seems like people were ONLY able to change by either using a scanner or taking the car to the dealer. Here is the forum page that takes about the scanner: mbworld.org/forums/s-class-w221/728040-changing-unit-settings-fahrenheit-celsius-cluster.html I would suggest the following: 1) Hoping on this forum see if someone can share you the details of the "scanner" 2) call your local mechanic that specializes in Mercedes or European Cars and see if they can update that with their computer 3) Lastly, the Mercedes Dealer. I would try the other options first since I do not know what the Dealers would cost to update this. Hopefully this is information is helpful. Best of luck man. Good thing you commented, if any other person reading this comment knows, maybe they can help out on this topic.

​@@LunChorTang-h8z It means that the passenger can watch a movie on the comand but the driver can't watch because it's like a mirror blocking the video for the driver. I changed my comand for an aftermarket radio and now we can watch together. Plus I have rear entertainment so the children can watch their own DVD with Bluetooth headphones 😉

Thats the downside to fancy tech they were basically using home theater standards in the s class. So its got problems with age but its also top notch so. Thats part of owning an s class. All the expensive tech eventually breaks and youll have to fix almost everything eventually.
