THRIFTING IS LIFE!! One of ,my all time favorite online thrift finds is an incredible 80's black leather trench coat ...it's butter soft and the coolest vintage cut but do you know what made it even cooler this season!? After 2 years of owning her I only just discovered that on top of her too roomy standard pockets she also has a giant hidden pocket nestled inside the chest area and its big enough to fit my phone.... I swear it changed my life when I found it only a few short weeks ago 😂 how I didn't discover it for two years is beside the point 😂 Great video Karen x

You make me smile when I see you in the Army camo pants. I wore those from the mid 1980s to 2006......The pull tabs on the back of the pants where for us women with smaller waist (to cinch in the waist band), since the uniform was made for both male and female. I think you could wear a feed sack and it would look chic on you. I love your style.

What i love about you is that you do your own thing. Whether it's vintage or how you make things go together you stand for individuality. I don't care for vintage but like most people I do have something that's peculiar to me. I have an entire closet for work clothes. in my spare time I do physical labor. Sometimes it is what you'd expect: target jeans, converse sneakers Sometimes it's expensive stuff that wasn't a fav or t-shirts where the colar got a bit stretched out after a few wears. Work clothes turn over pretty fast. My point is I've never seen anyone say "this is the closet for my work clothes" like I have. Most of us have something personal about how we do clothes that doesn't match how everyone else does clothes, and it's nice to feel included in the fashion world. Thanks.

I found a mohair sweater vest at an estate sale a few weeks ago...there were two at $1.50 each, but they were a small. I am usually a large or medium. They fit and plenty of room...love them. I love thrifting at estate sales..beautiful blazers...most made in US..pay less than five dollars for most items ...jackets, coats etc 😀

The green pants are a utility pant we wore in the early 80's in the Air Force. They then went with the camo pants you also showed. The camo's were so much more comfortable. Love them with a black crew neck sweater and black jump boots.

LOVE to get to see these shops - I'm in the Pacific NW - I used to sell my clothes to Buffalo Exchange and would find pieces there, and then there's a vintage shop that I think had to close when the owner got sick - sit was huge and they had everything - super cool stuff, and there's a Goodwill boutique and The Shoppe - so many.
