Another group that reminds me of Four Jacks and a Jill is a folk group named We Five from 1965. They had a female lead singer with four guys. Their big hit was "You Were On My Mind" check em out, yeah!🙂 Great box of stuff...as always!

8:56 As a former South African (Canadian for a number of decades now), I hadn't heard of 'Four Jacks & A Jill' as a South African group, but I really like that 'Master Jack' song. I'd say visually, the group looks like a South African version of 'The Seekers' (Georgy Girl). Another South African LP worth listening to is 'Ipi Tombi' (a musical from 1974) which features various Zulu singers and it has great songs with excellent rhythms. :)

Chess is a musical written by ABBA with lyrics by Tim Rice of Jesus Christ, Superstar fame. It contained the minor hit "One Night In Bangkok." I totally want those two China Crisis albums if they're in good shape (not that I'll be anywhere near you anytime soon). I have the blue one, but it's in terrible shape. Cock Robin is named after a VERY old nursery rhyme, "Who Killed Cock Robin?"
