Ok so, you would the last guy I would suspect to be a trucker out of a line up of other truckers but, for being so young, you have some awesome trucking skills. This is about the 20th video I have watched over the last few days and it has been a blast crisscrossing the country with you. Your editing is spot on. Insightful, entertaining and educational. Due to my job and family obligations, I don't get out much here in Phx, AZ. I have been to Shelby though. Beautiful country. Absolutely love NC. Thanks for the ride good buddy. There is a dock like that at Martin Bowers in PA... Don't even cut the seal off they do it all and close you back up at the dock. Love it. Haha

Your vids are inspiring me to seriously thinking about getting into driving myself. I'm currently unemployed, disabled *(severe arthritis of the spine (Ankylosing Spondylitis)). Anyway I've always enjoyed driving since learning to drive in Germany on the Autobahn. ;) My favorite road trip was on highway 40 from North Carolina to Arkansas. That is a most enjoyable drive. I really didn't want to stop but you gotta sleep sometime. ;)

I have a question. If I'm following your sequence here right, you dropped a trailer in Memphis, went to Jackson, but then going back to Memphis to pick up the same trailer, then head to North Carolina? Why not take that trailer to Jackson with you and go on to North Carolina from there? Oh, and new subscriber.

You have to call your company and let them know you went into violation, some companies can edit your time...just let them know you were unable to find a safe/ secure place to park and you feared for your safety... but if your caught at the scale house in VIOATION it's a 10 hr shutdown with a ticket that effects the driver and the company

What's up with the trailer wheels at 3:40?

Its an axle that slides back and forth as needed to shift weight to different places. Slide them forward and there is less weight on the trucks drive axle-backward=more weight. It is much like a See-Saw. Many warehouses require the driver to slide them back because there is less bouncing when they enter the trailer with a forklift. The trailer is also about 8 inches higher so its more level and they can enter and exit more quickly!
