Thank you for your trouble making this video for us. I've bought Renault Scenic 1.6 16v this summer and I wanted to change the coolant thinking it wasn't very hard. This video made me think again about that. Long story short, I'll take my car to the mechanic to see it getting done first hand because I like this car so much that I can't let my potential arrogance do any harm to it. :-)

Question. You removed the front undertray. I have a Megane it also has the 3 10mm bolts. But the trim is attached by torx type screws to the bumper. Yours seem to have been removed. Did you remove them? If so what size, do you recall? Cheers

@@ediz1797 Like my Geology lecturer used to say with regards to disparate phenomena "IT'S ALL THE SAME BLOODY PLANET!" - With this specific case, it doesnt take much imagination to see why that's true.

never use tap water as coolant, it will leave mineral build up on thermostats and sensors, and make the car go to shits. only demineralized water or real engine coolant. airfilters are great too if you want you engine to survive a few years :D

Hey all, just don't stress out about coolant, i had coolant leak in system before, so on summer time was filling all system with water, but before cold weather starts i was changing in to coolant, as we all know coolant dont get frozen in cold. Before i started the job i added food colouring just for u better to understand why is important to flush the system and to be able to see when system is empty of old liquid.
