A spooky co-incidence

Excellent walk for Halloween, Coolest of Dudes! I remember reading about the Everlasting Club when I was a kid: it was part of an excellent ghost anthology that included a spooky Australian tale of a rich English ne'er-do-well and, no doubt louche, minor aristo being deported to Botany Bay, successfully striking gold with 2 other ex-convicts, murdering them for their share and being haunted to death by their vengeful spirits in a cave where they forced him to attend every year. His remains were found in the cave where he had left the others many years before and the victims skeletons were found as if staring at his body in a shallow grave hewn from the rock floor. It was as if, his victim watched on as he writhed around in terror as the other victim's spirit tormented him. Trouble is, I can't remember the name of the book so it's really not much use to you. Also, it took place in Bathurst, NSW about 123 miles from Sydney which is a hell of a walk, even for you. You could get Rowan to do it, I suppose.

I found the tale of Dr Butts particularly terrifying, when I researched the story further I discovered he had a less well known brother called Seymour who was credited with the invention of a lightweight pocket telescope...

As "Offices" go, you can't go wrong with a Cathedral. I'm not religious, but I'm glad they were built when they were, because I often wonder if they would be today. Not sure how majestic a flat pack facade would be.
