I’ve just done the first leg of the South West Coast Path with some friends and covered off this walk on Saturday. Started from Braunton and stayed at Appledore in the fabulous Royal George. We all thought the Barnstaple stretch up towards Instow was a boring old slog too. No gradient whatsoever and the tarmac was not our friend. A much better walk around there is from Woolacombe to Braunton the day before on our trip. Loads of wildlife. Bunnies, birds and butterflies galore. Stay cool, dude!

Late watching as I've been in your favourite abode for a few days getting very much 'Otter than I should. Wow was it hot over there this time. Musn't complain. Actually visited your local Village stores & bought some home grown produce there🍓🥔🥬. Like stepping back in time with the phone box (that actually works) & tiny stores that remind me of my youth. Too hot to walk some of the old railway paths on IOW this time so just flopped out at Freshwater Bay & discovered leftover IOW festival hippies ☮who were naked on the beach😲 despite it being packed with old grannies & rather interested young fellas. Some tutting was heard & heavy breathing (but that might just have been the heat!). Great video once again Marek Love North Devon. Sorry you lost your cap x J x

Great video and amusing comments too. Seriously though, I once saw a Eurasian Lynx, sunning itself in a field early one morning near Dover, Kent. 👍

It’s lucky we live so far apart as I’d feel obligated to be constantly sewing your possessions to you with long bits of elastic so you didn’t lose them. Call me paranoid but I think your hatred of pigeons has lead you to removed my number from the generate number. Also my crap camera is so crap that it only takes blury photos. It’s ridiculously crappy. How am I expected to create art with it. Pheggffggrrrr These are the important issues I have this week.

The Sandown "Clown" said he had no name. The Sam word seems to be totally unrelated. Maybe he was calling the children Sam.

Cycle paths masquerading as footpaths! It's enough to make a cool dude apoplectic But here in Kintyre we got our own back by building a wet and windy A road with log lorries hurtling by, masquerading as a Cycle path. My nickname would be Oi You.

Two footpaths were in the pub having a quiet pint together and chatting. A wiry thin strip of tarmac walks in and marches up to the bar, pushing past and spilling the pint of the larger of the two footpaths. The footpath springs to his feet. "Oi, watch out, look where you're going!" he says, annoyed. The thin tarmac strip just ignores him and orders a drink. "Scuse me, mate" insists the footpath, getting angry now. "Just leave it," whispers the footpath's friend. "He's an absolute cycle path."

Only just worked out how to use the emojis Also I take your point about tarmac tax however there are a couple of cycle paths round our way that I use because it's better than walking along a busy road with no pavement - anyway no video of yours could ever be boring

Ha. Thank you. I suppose the upside is that you can walk the in winter, especially with all the rain we've been having. I might need to do an umbrella emoji!

Hi Marek sorry you had a disappointing slightly cursed walk. I watched it while cleaning sticky brown slime out of the bottom of my fridge, I think the slime used to be carrots and new potatoes and it was utterly disgusting! Hope that cheers you up

It seems that last place you were at might be it? The poles are clearly visible. It looks like a great explore for a kid. I absolutely love the story. I’ll be visiting the Isle in September but probably no time to check the location unfortunately.
