Near the first part of your walk, there's not only threat from falling rock, but at certain times of the year you may encounter a massive group of fox terriers. When we went in October for the terrier walk, there was also the hazard of immense waves roaring over our heads (and if you were unlucky, on your head). My second dog who is somewhat heavier than a fox terrier was scared of the waves and had to be carried. Not the most fun I've ever had. I'm sure you'd be thankful you end up there that day!

It's a recumbent nude bald man reading - if I remember I'll drop you a picture on something that is friendlier to sending images. PS I think it's in cast concrete

When I was in my youth I had a shaved head for a while and my friend (who had long hair) and I gatecrashed a party when we were a bit drunk, and someone apparently said "who invited that ****ing skinhead?" and someone else said "yeah! and he's brought his long haired mate". So I think we would be a pair of highway bandits and call ourselves The ****ing Skinhead and His Long Haired Mate, and that would sow even more confusion as I no longer have a skinhead.

Confusion makes it easier to rob people. Excellent tactic.

Hello Coolest of Dudes. Excellent walk plus slightly ominous cows. If I were a highwayman, I'd be 'The Sarcky Sabre' and make snide comments about their hygiene shortcomings as I relieved them of their pocket watches and pearls like 'Stand and deliver but from a distance coz you really whiff' or 'What fine diamonds, Madam. I shall buy you some soap and a flannel with the money they make'.

Nice one, loved the song, you should be in the next Dick Turpin series as the purple singing highwayman Cows are normally just getting on with their thing and ok but if they're a bit frisky and inquisitive I just keep talking to them and keep walking, I have been in a field where they started to run after me but they just stayed alongside me so I kept my cool and just kept walking normally - they all stopped once I got to the stile but I never take half a ton of for granted and keep my eye on them 👍

@@cdwc my two were Havenstreet - the footpath across a field between Rowlands Lane and Church Road, the stile at the Church Road end is in a narrowed bit so you can get a bit crowded in - you wouldn't like that! The field with the running moos was between Dodpits Lane and Clay Lane by Chessell Copse in Shalfleet. If they get too much a clap or shout normally stops them - like a big half ton dog
