Cooled Collective trying to find the perfect suspension for his Porsche 964

Finding the perfect solution for suspension has been a long term issue for me. Most of the suspension off the shelf had various issues. Knowing full well that I want my car to be mainly a street car with sport feels vs a street car with track bits, it was hard finding something that allowed me to sit low and still get functional usage out of my car. Because I ride with my wife and son frequently, I needed the car to be comfortable enough for them not to hate the car and stiff enough for me to sport drive when I am by myself.
When I went to Will at @wrteknica, I told him my frustrations and what I was looking for and he told me that he could custom fab dampers for me to fit the bill. We had measurements done and sent off to MCS and got the one way setup. Later we paired them up with Swift springs and I have been breaking them in ever since the second half of 2020.
I will get into details of what I like and dont like about my setup in a future video.

If the shock shaft is longer then stock. Won’t that shock bottom out sooner then stock? When I lowered my car we had to cut the shocks down to keep them from bottoming out.

The engine under tray / shield does not act as a diffuser. It's purpose is to reduce noise. Benefits to removing the shield is: heat reduction, weight reduction, and you can spot oil leaks easily.
