People consider xion one of the hardest? Her attack patterns were pretty straightforward for me to counter. For me Dark Riku and Vanitas were the hardest. Dark Riku’s attacks were ridiculously hard to avoid

People seem kinda divisive on Dark Riku’s difficultly and Vanitas is generally considered easy until you start Level 1 runs and such I guess. It’s honestly really cool how each fight seems to rest different things meaning each fight can be hard or easy depending on the person

@@hyperkirby0143 Dark Riku was the easiest for me the trick is to never trigger revenge value ,the DM is tricky but when you learn it is pretty simple ,he is always staggerable when he do the ground shadow.

I fought Dark Riku second and had no idea he was one of he harder data fights I assumed he was decently hard because it took me two hours on critical mode to beat him while the others sans Young Xehanort, Larxene and Luxord when I figured out how to play his game, took hours but that was because he kept killing me within seconds the first 10 times XD I was not a fan of Vanitas' Data Fight, it was fun but at the same time, he felt more like a BBS boss than a III boss, especially because his attacks are disjointed and have no real rhythm

i had to do this fight with oathkeeper and the light form transformation. Sora dodging while clad in light while xion is jumping around also clad in light while putting out beams of lights towards you is an amazing sight. This was my most cinematic and fun fight of the entire series. I would dare say this tops the roxas fight in terms of how much style you can do in this fight.

These boss fights are supposed to be how strong and challenging they were in the narrative, one can only imagine how strong Sora would be as a boss fight, and how much access he would have to all his skills and hp.

Might be an extremely stupid question but how do you do that slow walk? :/ Whenever I slightly tilt my analog stick, Sora slowly walks but in a fighting stance.

Sora's AI has to register that there are no locked on enemies and believe there are no enemies present. It can only be done at moments when enemies teleport away. For example, I triggered it on Xemnas during his DM when he teleported away to unleash his lasers. Seeing Sora causally walk toward thousands of lasers was very satisfying.

God I love this boss battle so much, it's my favorite in the series, dethroning Roxas' in KH2FM. I genuinely have fun with it that I rarely have with any boss from any game, and the only data boss battle I was dying to play again after I first beat it (I enjoy all of them, some more than others, but xion is at the top for me). I'm not that skilled of a kh player, I beat them all at proud, but Xion is the only one I want to do a no damage run since I love her battle so much. Honestly I love it too much that itself alone is worth the 30$ for remind. Thanks will I watched all your videos for the bosses I had a tough time on to gain some insight on how to defeat them.

Why aren't you using Speed Slash in this? Does the RV not line up for 2 combos or something?

To give you the long and short of it, Will probably doesn't use it since the new modifier Last Charge is a much better technique in terms of speed, damage and the ability to smoothly cancel out of it. Another reason is likely the Ability Limit Pro Code limiting his ability selection to 30 abilities. I'm not sure what other abilities he is running, but I could tell from previous videos he has all 3 air slides. Probably sacrificed Leaf Bracer, Second Chance and Withstand Combo for them considering for a run like this, he wouldn't be using them anyway.

@@ironstark917 You don't have to choose between Speed Slash and Last Charge, if they're both equipped, they will both proc in a single combo. And since the most recent patch, Speed Slash is the best of the phyiscal damage finishers in terms of RV and damage. Many level 1 and 99 runners/players have adopted Speed Slash into their setup because it's a pretty strong ability now. It hits reliably, knocks the enemy into perfect distance for the vanilla aerial finisher which then leads into Last Charge. It's also cancelable if you for some reason whiff it. The ability is in no way "dogshit" like @Ventus claimed. The Ability Limit Pro Code could be the reason for not taking it, but unfortunately Will doesn't show his abilities in his videos, so I couldn't see his complete setup, which was why I originally even asked the question.
