That viper is great! I usually carry a bag of rags and pack around the unit especially if rinsing. That fine spray will penetrate deeper on your first pass if you take the time to aim between the coil fins, otherwise spraying willy nilly just foams up on the outer surface.

That cooler looks like it should have been replaced during the Reagan administration... That thing looks like it's seen some stuff and can tell some stories. I'm the guy at work that pitches a fit when the coolers are rammed up against the wall so they can't breathe, and I periodically brush the coils even if they don't look like they need it. It takes all of five to ten minutes to check these things, I gotta move them around to sweep and mop underneath them anyway! While my HVAC training is only from a handful of KZbin channels, there are basic things I've learned from these videos that literally anyone can do to help prolong the life of the equipment. Almost everything else in the store is busted, but our refrigerators and walk-ins have been kicking @$$ for over twenty years. (I'm wondering who we use for HVAC because it certainly isn't our regular maintenance person, and thank you to whomever made that decision!) The Refrigeration Technologies Viper stuff ain't no joke, it's worth every penny. After seeing countless coil cleanings over on Chris's channel, I bought a few rattle cans of it for myself, and set about cleaning the coils on the family cars' ACs and my bedroom window air conditioner. Even though you could see through the coils on the cars no problem beforehand, all sorts of dirt and road grime rinsed out. My window air conditioner coil was half-plugged with pollen that wouldn't rinse out with water alone. It works well for consumer and automotive applications as well. For the cars, I covered the painted fiberglass bumpers with plastic sheeting just because I didn't know if it would be safe on automotive paint/clearcoat, I cannot say whether it is safe or not, so BUYER BEWARE.
