Hi, Randy. What most people don't understand is the earth go through extreme weather cycles every 50 to 75 years. Some years the summer is longer and hotter and other years the winters are much colder and longer. It's just a cycle the earth goes through. Also, Love your videos. Watch them every day. Keep up the good work.

Randy, i wouldn't unsubscribe from your channel no matter what you said. Because i can tell you are a humble, considerate, insightful, generous person WITH GOOD INTENTIONS. We don't need a war on hate, we need a war on intentional misinterpretation. Why we as a society have devolved to cater to those who are looking to be offended is truly a sad thing. Thank you for giving so freely of yourself man. 👍👊

I agree 100% on late fall being much warmer than it used to be. However, spring doesn’t seem to be affected much. If anything springs seem colder than they used to be.

Hey Randy the earth actually gets closer to the sun in winter than summer. It is the angle of the light that is responsible for the length of th day and temperature we experience.
@jjm4643
@jjm4643 Жыл бұрын
The Earth's distance from the sun has nothing to do with the seasons, It is the tilt of the earth toward the sun that changes as the earth orbits the sun. Longer days , summer, in the northern hemisphere while the southern hemisphere is experiencing shorter days at the same time.

In the late 70s early 80s here in southern Michigan, I could normally go ice fishing over Christmas vacation. Last witner we had safe ice for a few days in February. That was it. Denighing these facts do not help. That is not the exception, but the rule the last few years. Keep talking about it Randy.

Here is SW Pennsylvania the allegheny River would freeze so solid 50 years ago you could drive a full sized truck over it every winter up near Tioga. Now it doesn't even freeze anymore and people are having to drive hours further north just to get on barely safe ice to fish. Snowmobiling used to be a big deal a few decades ago and now you never see them because of the lack of snow

All the old heads say we used to get feet of ice and they would have to add extensions on their ice augers to drill. Local lakes used to have motorcycle ice races every year and they stopped doing it because the lake was open water last few winters

Something about the mag draft at night. They hit it like they’re mad at it. Once the topwater bite dies off I’ll switch to a mag draft and they tear that thing apart.

A 6 degree change last Sunday, turned the larger fish on, in the shallows. I had been searching all day for deeper fish (which I had wrongly expected) without luck, and switched to the dock/shoreline approach. In an instant everything changed. The fish were not aggressive, and simply picked up the stationary offering and simply swam away… If you are a line watcher, this is an awesome time to catch some seriously solid fish.

48 deg this morning and maybe 70 this evening. Been feeling it up here! Rub'n it in? Yep! The official first day of fall is the 23rd but it's already up here. The bass are tearing up the minnows in the bays and creeks. You can see their wake amongst the minnows breaking in two foot of water. Popped one last week which couldn't have water any deeper than a foot. Sadly it won't last long.

Hang in there, it has to get better eventually. We have had it tough here in California since Covid, seems like thousands and thousands of more people started recreating on and around our water bodies. We had a sewage spill and hydrilla water turnover kill off all our sport fish in the river. Poachers galore, no limits on catch because we have no watchdogs; city officials don't want to risk getting into altercations or a lawsuit or get fired; only 3 state game wardens for our area and a couple of ticket writing city rangers in a city of 3mil. Yeah, it's tough!!

Hey Randy, a reminder - we all know the climate is changing, as it has since the earth began. The issues are what causes the change, does human activity impact the change and what can be done to lessen any negative effects of climate change.

The "climate" has always been changing and it always will. Just ask a farmer in the south about 1980 and how hot it was. God is in charge of our weather, world wide, not man.

God is real and so is Jesus Christ , and I’ve lived down south in southern Louisiana for over 50 years and I can honestly say our weather here has changed our winters are milder and our summers are hotter , when I was young I would have to wear a coat during the winter months off and on to go to school , but now a hoodie or sweatshirt is all that’s needed , the arctic fronts that we used to get are less , I can remember duck hunting here with solid ice and the go-devil having to bust it up and when this happened we would see ice rolling over chunks of it rolling over on top of pure ice sliding across the top were chunks sliding while the boat was breaking through it , this was in the 80s

Small Rant. We have had previous ice ages. Currently, the scientific explanation for everything taking place is a “Grand Solar Minimum”. Less sunspots and solar activity. As well as an increase in cosmic rays.The last “Minimum” took place during the 1800’s during the times of famine and the “Black Plague”. John Casey, Rolf Witze, and Valentina Zarkova have all dedicated their lives to the subject. While I don’t like big oil, Id argue the Sun has a bigger impact on our atmospheric conditions. Sadly, the global elite powers want to control everything we do. This includes taxing us for “carbon” usage because of “climate change”. So, I think that’s why you get some negative feedback. I think we can all agree we just want clean and healthy fisheries as well as planet. Unfortunately, Klaus Schaub and others have different plans for us. With all that being said, thanks for all the info and content Randy! You have definitely made me a better bass fisherman
