i remember you guys seldom fish ocean and mostly lakes but now you are fishing deep blue often.. im pretty sure you guys will get on those chrome soon as you gain the experience and knowledge. once i was hook on ocean, i never go back to lakes..

We still love Crappie fishing the most, but we do love to try out different places and species. It all also depends on what bites when and where, weather/wind conditions to see where we can go. I hope we can get on some of the ocean chrome ones too. Thank you for watching.

Great video guys, sorry you didn't get any Salmon, but rock fishing is always a great plan B, and you guys did very well on them!!! Just a little info. When you go back out for Salmon, you may want to try between Bird rock, and Elephant in 80 feet of water, and go down to 70 feet on the wire. The very large fall run Salmon should be showing up in the shallows!! Great fishing to you guys!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

As far as Clear Lake goes, I think they’ll still be in the same pattern as last year just in smaller school and less of them. I guessing they’ll start schooling up around December.

How many rockfish you can get?

Generally 10 each, but , there are fish with individual limits within that and others outside of that. It is set by Federal law and state law. Refer to the regs when you go and for the area you fish in. They change, often. California stopped printing yearly regs its all online as the updates happen regularly.

Nice Whaler ! Come out the mouth and take a hard left. I catch all my Salmon between The point and Bird rock in shallow water this time of year mid July to mid August. but your Rock fishing ability is OFF THE CHARTS
