@@mizz9841 it’s a very easy jet to fly especially its landing characteristics. No flaps it’ll glide forever. But full flaps makes a big difference. Even with full flaps it’s very forgiving. If you fly the Zeus without issues the F22 will be a piece of cake

I would have liked to hear you specify if this was the 6S or 8S version. That's important but I only gathered that it was the 8S version when you mentioned in passing that the 8S has good vertical. I noticed the 2 batteries and so I guess those were 2 4S batteries in series. But it should be in the title of the video. I would also have liked to see more about how you put in the nav lights. You focused mostly on the paint job but I'm no paint guy so that didn't matter to me because I'm not going to do it but I do like to have night lights on my planes. I 100% agree that that should be a factory installed item. I hope they have plans to come out with a V2 on the Raptor and include some of these things that I've seen people mention. I want to get this plane for a scale jet.
@Apexx_RC5 күн бұрын
Thanks for the detailed feedback. Good point, title has been edited. For the nav lights I drilled a hole just big enough to fit the led light snugly in the hole. Then used a scalpel blade to cut a trail for the wire all the way to the wire board in the wing which there is open ports for

That looks like a cool canopy but I fly in FPV so I have a clear canopy. I'm not a fan of cutting the canopy for flying FPV. It's a great flying jet one of my favorites too. Did you change out the tires to Dubo no bounce wheels? I've got so use to doing my large scale plans and jets just did it to my EDFs after words. Can you post you rates i always try others when i can. You just never know it might be better than what I'm flying. I fly SMC 8s battiers just if I want to fly one battery. I have a 2s for my reciever and servos. Great job Bro on your set up✌️

How did you prepare the body for paint? Did you sand it? I want to paint mine with the NGAD color scheme. Gimme as much detail as you can.
@Apexx_RC25 күн бұрын
@@Technicallyaddicted I didn’t do any prep or sanding. Just masked the area I needed to and painted it with the colors shown in the video. Only thing to note is try using low adhesive masking tape. I found some at The Home Depot. Some tapes will rip the paint up if you’re not careful. Considering it has water slide decals on the original paint, it’s very hard to notice the old decals underneath

Thanks! Doing this requires a very specific slow speed to perform, it’ll also require the same setup that I have in the video. After you’ve gotten the slow speed, drop throttle completely, pull back on the elevator as fast as you can, then full right aileron about half a second or less after pulling the elevator while still holding the elevator. If you gain a bunch of altitude, your speed to too fast, if you’re too slow you won’t feel any agility
